Kelli Hopke, PT, DPT, OCS

Hi there! I’m Dr. Kelli Hopke, the founder of Lavender Roots Physical Therapy & Fitness. Born and raised in Golden, Colorado, I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and how it moves. I earned my degree in Human Physiology from Gonzaga University (go Zags!) and went on to receive my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 2020. Driven by a desire to deepen my clinical skills, I completed an Orthopedic Residency through the University of Montana and became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2022.

My journey into pelvic health began unexpectedly — after taking a course on treating pregnant and postpartum athletes, I was immediately hooked. I couldn’t believe how much we don’t learn about this population in traditional training, and I knew I wanted to be part of the change. Today, I specialize in bridging the gap between orthopedics and pelvic floor therapy, helping active women move confidently, live pain-free, and get back to the things they love.

Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find me hiking, enjoying live music, or on a mission to find Denver’s best local coffee shop or brewery. And yes, I’m still a very proud Zags fan!
